The Society own two cameras (one Canon, and one Nikon), a scanner, and a Spyder calibration tool.
It has been decided that going forward there will be no charge to rent this equipment.
People renting will still need to sign the equipment out and to do this you should speak to John Sellar who will arrange a 2 week rental.
The cameras have recently been tested, and whilst a few years old now, are in perfect working order. For those members with compact or bridge cameras this is a great opportunity to have a play with a dSLR.
During the Summer Photography Course students will have priority over rentals of these cameras.
It has been mentioned that the software for the Spyder may be out of date so someone may wish to have a play around with this.
