Each year the Society hold an Annual Exhibition of prints and projected images which is open to the public and free to enter.

In 2013 the exhibition will run from Monday 28th October until Saturday 3rd November and will be held at;

 

The Welcome Centre

Church Lane

Walthamstow, E17 9RJ

Typically we exhibit approximately 300 prints and projected images.  There is always a very diverse range of photography genres displayed so irrespective of your taste there will be something to appeal.

Summer Exhibition

Summer Exhibition

The Society are holding a Summer Exhibition for 2 weeks in the Winns Gallery, Lloyd Park.

It will be held between Monday 26th August 2013 and Saturday 7th September 2013 – 11am until 4.30pm.

The exhibition is open to all club members, new and old.

The mount size must be 40x50cm, white mount. Print any size, B&W or colour.

Ian has said he will do the printing and mounting.

Initially only three submissions each but if we have to many then we will rotate over the two weeks, if we have too few then members will be asked for more images.

The gallery is in the grounds of Lloyd Park beside the skatepark.

Vestry House Museum – Display

As mentioned in a previous post the Vestry House Museum is now displaying photo related objects, vintage cameras and Photo Society memorabilia, plus there are also details about the Summer Course.
The exhibition will run until the end of June 2013.
Vestry House Museum, Walthamstow Village is open 10-5pm, Wednesday through Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

After a break of one year due to some sporting competition or other we are returning to the Waterworks Nature Reserve to hold an exhibition of members prints.

The exhibition will run between 26th July 2013 and 29th July 2013 and be held in the exhibition space next to the cafe.

Rules;

  • White mounts
  • Mount size – 300mm x 400mm
  • Photos must be taken within the Lea Valley
  • Images to be submitted by the 19th July 2013

There is enormous scope to take a incredible variety of photographs with in the the Lea Valley; anything from Kayaking to wildlife via dog shows, fun runs and many other activities.
